58-60 HRC: refers to the hardness of the steel and a 58-60 HRC is what you will find in higher quality knives. They will maintain sharpness far longer than cheaper blades. A higher HRC number (Hardness Rockwell Scale) means a harder steel. Lower numbers are softer and easier to sharpen but lose their edge more quickly. Higher numbers hold an edge longer but are tougher to sharpen. Go too high in rankings and the knife becomes brittle and more likely to break or chip.

A Hollow grind knife blade: this is a type of grind that produces a very sharp edge due to its beveling and a concavity. When you need a sharp edge, such as for straight razors, this is a preferred grind.

Vacuum Hardening or Furnace: this is a type of furnace that is used in metal processing. The product, in this case steel, is surrounded by a vacuum, keeping out gases that would otherwise contaminate or oxidize the steel. The end result is a higher quality steel.
